Every time I think of what my sister went through when she was dealing with her substance dependency I get sick to my stomach. The way she looked was horrible all sunken in and skinny. Thank god we were able to find alcohol treatment center for her before she killed herself. I never knew that substance dependency could take such a toll on a person and change them so much nor did I understand how alcohol treatment center could restore a person back to their original self.

Why did substance abuse happen to my son, was the words of an unsuspecting mother who found her son dead from an overdose. Her eyes swollen with tears as she tried to figure out how this happened. If only she had paid attention. If only she had known the signs of addiction she could have saved him. She could have found alcohol treatment program for him. Substance abuse takes the lives of loved ones from their families everyday but, it doesn't have to. Do the research and know the signs of addiction before it's to late to find alcohol treatment program.
